IWD Art Exhibition 2025
Hosted by Monmouth Baptist Church and brought to you by The Art Fringe: What does faith mean to you as a woman in a modern world?
By holding this event we intend to honour the creativity, ingenuity, tenacity and strength of women in the Arts. Here they can showcase their beliefs, experiences, viewpoints and abilities. This is an outreach exhibition to facilitate a dialogue between Christians and people of no faith or other faiths.

The BIG IWD Quiz!
Launching our celebration of International Women's Day 2025, we are kicking off with The BIG Quiz! Test your general knowledge, your Biblical- know-how and other brain teasing frolics!
Participation is free and open to all. Either come in a team or join one when you arrive!

Meet Jo Walker, Science Teacher, mother and Christian. Speaking on the challenges women of our times face with the contradictory expectations placed upon them, she brings a Christian perspective to facing the unrealistic standards women and young girls are held to. Using scripture and her own experiences Jo presents an insightful talk on women’s faith in modern times.
Friday 14th March 7.30pm - 8.45pm Finding Peace in an Anxious World. Jess Bond & Lindsay Melluish.
Anxiety and negative thinking are familiar to many of us as women living in the complexity of our modern world. Jess is mum to three little ones and a children’s counsellor and Lindsay is her mum, grandparent, and family therapist working with young people in a CAMHS setting and former church pastor. Together they will help us think about ways to navigate these mental health challenges and the difference that faith can make in enhancing that process.
